12 Timer Viborg is a timed event: runners lap a short circuit for twelve hours (shorter formats too), and whoever covers the most kilometres wins. A loop course means constant support, food every few minutes and spectators who see you again and again. Viborg is one of Denmark's oldest towns, with a twin-towered cathedral, an old quarter by the lakes and the start of the ancient Hærvejen route.
