The Alfa Laval Stevensloop is a popular spring run in Nijmegen, named after the Gothic Stevenskerk in the historic centre. The 5 and 10 km courses run through the old town and along the river Waal, with gently rolling terrain adding character. The event is charity-driven and mass-participation with a friendly feel; the short distances suit beginners, and springtime Nijmegen with its quays and terraces is a bonus.
