Meridiano Media Maratón Internacional & 10K Aguas de Alicante
21 February 2027 · Alicante, Spain
coastalpb courseflatscenic
The Meridiano Media Maratón Internacional & 10K Aguas de Alicante is one of Spain's fastest half marathons, drawing several thousand runners each year to the Costa Blanca coastline. The race traditionally starts near the port, in the Ocean Race area, and finishes at Muelle 12; the certified 21.097km course runs along the Paseo de Gomiz seafront, the Explanada, Avenida de Soto and Avenida de Gadea, and Avenida de la Constitución before finishing near the town hall square. The route is accredited by the Spanish Athletics Federation through 2032, a mark of its precision and quality. In 2026 the race drew a record 7,250 participants from 55 countries and generated an economic impact of more than 1.5 million euros for the city. Alicante's mild late-winter Mediterranean climate and largely flat profile make this one of Spain's best courses for chasing a half marathon personal best.
