The Medio Maratón Bajo Pas reaches its 39th edition in 2026, making it one of Cantabria's longest-running half marathons. Start and finish are in Oruña de Piélagos, a municipality named for the Pas river, which meets the Cantabrian Sea nearby. It's organized by the local Club Deportivo Oruña Bajo Pas; the course is flat, running through coastal meadows and villages of the Piélagos municipality, just 15 minutes from Santander airport.
