Běh Moravským krasem is a September trail race in the village of Sloup, in the heart of the Moravian Karst protected area north of Brno, and part of the Český běh calendar. The roughly 12 km course follows forest paths through dry karst valleys and past limestone cliffs — with real climbs but no alpine technicality. It is an intimate race with a nature vibe, where caves, cliffs and beech woods replace city streets. It suits seasoned trail runners and road runners trying the trails alike. The Moravian Karst offers the Punkva Caves with a boat ride on an underground river, the Macocha Abyss more than 130 m deep and the Sloup-Šošůvka Caves right in Sloup.
