The Berlin Marathon is the course where the world record has fallen eleven times. The city works like a launchpad here — wide avenues with barely a turn to slow you down, flawless asphalt, and a finish straight through the Brandenburg Gate that feels like splitting history in two. Along the way: the Reichstag, Alexanderplatz, Charlottenburg — all of Berlin in a little over three hours. At the finish, the traditional non-alcoholic beer and the feeling of having just run one of the fastest roads on the planet.

Weather in September
Late September is typically cool and dry — 10–18°C, close to ideal marathon conditions. But 2025 turned unexpectedly hot, hitting 27°C, so it's worth having a heat contingency plan too.
