Bieg Powstania Warszawskiego is a memorial 10 km run held in late July / early August, around the anniversary of the 1944 Warsaw Uprising. The course passes places tied to the Uprising's history and draws runners for whom this is less a race than an act of remembrance. A flat city course and warm summer weather combine with a strong emotional and historical dimension to make the event special.
