Bjergetapen is a trail race over the hills of Mols Bjerge National Park in East Jutland, one of the few genuinely hilly places in Denmark. The name means 'the mountain stage': expect heathland, wooded slopes and views over the bay. Distances of 20, 40, 60 and 80 km range from a long training run to a full ultra. It takes place in late July from Fuglsø; nearby Ebeltoft has Denmark's smallest town hall and the frigate Jylland.
