Blodomloppet is Sweden's large charity series in support of blood donation. The Halmstad edition — a resort town on the Kattegat coast — is held in early September: run 5 or 10 km or walk 5 km on flat urban paths. A friendly, family format and a great first race; blood donors traditionally take part for free.
