Blodomloppet Östersund

Blodomloppet is Sweden's large running series in support of blood donation. In the northern city of Östersund it takes place in late August: run 5 or 10 km or walk 5 km on flat urban paths beside the great Lake Storsjön. Friendly, family-oriented and a perfect 'off-the-couch' format for beginners; blood donors traditionally run for free.
