Blodomloppet is Sweden's large running series in support of blood donation. The Växjö edition — surrounded by the lakes and forests of Småland — is held in early September: run 5 or 10 km or walk 5 km on flat urban paths. A mass, accessible event for all levels; blood donors traditionally run for free.
