Boka Bay Trail

Held since 2021 in late April, Boka Bay Trail has become Montenegro's signature spring trail race, supported by Salomon. Five courses from 7.8 km up to 82.3 km with 4,100 m of climbing start in different towns around the bay: the longest from Škver port in Herceg Novi, the 60 km from Risan, the 34 km from Perast and the short ones from Porto Montenegro marina in Tivat. The trails run across the mountains above the Bay of Kotor with sweeping fjord-like panoramas, and most courses finish at the city citadel in Kotor's Old Town. The region offers UNESCO-listed medieval Kotor, the tiny islet of Our Lady of the Rocks off Perast, seafood on the waterfront and boat trips around the bay.
