The Deutsche Post Marathon Bonn is a spring marathon, half and 10 km through the former West German capital: a flat course along the Rhine, through the government quarter and the old centre. Bonn is Beethoven's birthplace (his house is a museum), with Rhine promenades and the Siebengebirge hills and Drachenfels opposite.
