9 May 2027 · Bristol, UK
halfurbanflatfastautumnharbourside
The AJ Bell Great Bristol Run takes place in May with a half marathon and a 10K; around 23,000 people took part in 2026, a record. The half follows the harbourside and heads out through the Avon Gorge, passing beneath the famous Clifton Suspension Bridge, before returning via Spike Island, Wapping Wharf and Redcliffe. It ends with a long finishing straight along Hotwell Road to a grandstand finish on Anchor Road. Bristol rewards a visit with Banksy street art, Brunel's SS Great Britain, harbourside food markets and leafy Clifton.
