Broschtkriibslaf

The Broschtkriibslaf ('breast cancer run') is an annual charity event by Europa Donna Luxembourg held in October, breast-cancer awareness month. Participants walk or run about 5 km on the flat paths of Hesperange park along the Alzette river, dressed in pink. It is not a race against the clock but a celebration of solidarity bringing together patients, their families, doctors, volunteers and companies. Open to everyone, including families with children (kids run free), it is an ideal 'straight-off-the-couch' outing with a strong social message. The gathering is at Hesperange park, with the start at 10:00.
