Brose Night Run Prievidza takes place in mid-September, with the main 10 km starting at 7 pm as dusk settles over the town. The course runs on closed streets in central Prievidza and is almost perfectly flat — only around 8 m of climbing — making it a personal-best hunting ground, and it carries a World Athletics road label. The afternoon belongs to families, with kids' races, a family mile, a 5 km and a canicross with dogs, followed by music and post-race massages. Prievidza sits in the upper Nitra valley, next to fairytale Bojnice Castle and the Bojnice thermal baths.
