The Brussels Ekiden is an autumn Japanese-style relay: a team of six covers the marathon in legs of 5, 10, 5, 10, 5 and 7.195 km, passing a sash between them. The start and changeovers are at the King Baudouin Stadium in Laeken, next to the Atomium; there is a kids' race too. A great format for friends and colleagues. Brussels means the Grand-Place, the Atomium, the Magritte and comics museums, Belgian beer and waffles.
