The Brussels Airport Marathon & Half Marathon is the Belgian capital's main marathon, held in autumn with thousands of runners. The course is rolling and varied: the historic centre, the European Quarter, parks and woods on the outskirts; in recent years it has started at the Atomium and in the city centre. Brussels means the Grand-Place, the Atomium, the Magritte and comics museums, Belgian beer and waffles.
