Carrera de la Mujer is Europe's biggest women's running series. The A Coruña leg gathers thousands of runners in pink who run or walk 5 km along the Atlantic promenade of this Galician city, past the Tower of Hercules and the Plaza de María Pita. The mood is festive and charitable (cancer fundraising), the course flat and accessible — ideal for beginners and families.
