The Barcelona leg closes the season of the Carrera de la Mujer, Europe's largest women's running series. Thousands of participants in pink run or walk a flat 5 km by the sea, often around the Fòrum and the Olympic seafront. It is charitable and friendly to beginners and families. This is a separate event, not to be confused with the Cursa de la Mercè.
