Pardubice is the town of gingerbread and the famous Velká Pardubická steeplechase, and each autumn it hosts a mass stop of the ČEZ RunTour series. A flat course through the historic centre and along the Elbe river, distances of 5 and 10 km, kids' races and a 3 km family run. A great accessible race for a traveller combining running with the Renaissance chateau and the Green Gate.
