The Chemnitzer Marathon is an autumn marathon, half and 10 km through Chemnitz on gently rolling roads. Chemnitz was European Capital of Culture 2025: the giant Karl Marx head, the Gunzenhauser museum, the Industrial Museum and a petrified forest, with the Ore Mountains nearby.
