J.P. Morgan City Jogging is a mass city run held in early July, organised by the Luxembourg Athletics Federation with support from the City of Luxembourg. It starts at La Coque arena on the Kirchberg plateau, and the 6 or 10 km course runs along Avenue John F. Kennedy past the glass towers of the European institutions, into the historic centre and back. It is about fun rather than records: you can run, walk or Nordic-walk the distance, and children from five have their own 1 km race and games near the start. Luxembourg City offers the Bock casemates, the views from the Chemin de la Corniche, the Grund quarter below the cliffs and walks across the bridges over the Pétrusse valley.
An easy run with a local club the day before the race — the best way to shake out the legs and meet the city.
