Conwy Half Marathon
15 November 2026 · Conwy (North Wales), UK
halfcoastalscenicrollingautumncastlewales
The Conwy Half has been held each November for nearly two decades; more than 4,000 runners took part in 2025, and Runner's World readers voted it one of the UK's five most scenic half marathons. Start and finish are by the bridge on Conwy Quay, right in front of the 700-year-old castle. The route follows the river to Deganwy and Llandudno's West Shore, then loops the Great Orme, with steep climbs and views of Anglesey and Puffin Island, before a long descent leads back to the castle. Conwy has complete medieval town walls and Britain's smallest house, with Victorian Llandudno and Eryri (Snowdonia) close by.
