In 2026 the Media Maratón de Córdoba celebrates its 40th edition, making it one of Andalusia's longest-running half marathon traditions. The race starts on Avenida Conde de Vallellano and winds through the flat streets of the historic Al-Andalus city from north to south and east to west. The finish line sits at the Puerta del Puente gate, right beside the famous Roman Bridge and just steps from the Mezquita, Córdoba's UNESCO World Heritage mosque-cathedral. Aid stations are placed at kilometers 5, 10, 15 and 17.
