Corrida Raiffeisen
5 December 2026 · Neuchatel, Switzerland
roadhillywintercitynight
The Corrida Raiffeisen is a Christmas race in early December through Neuchâtel's historic centre, starting and finishing on Place des Halles. Distances suit every age, from 550 m for the youngest to 6.8 km for adults and Nordic walkers, all on the cobbles and narrow lanes of the old town. Every entrant gets a medal, timing and hot tea at the finish, and a parade of Father and Mother Christmases turns the race into a family party. Neuchâtel is a town of yellow stone on the shore of its lake, with a castle and collegiate church on the hill, and its region is known for watchmaking and absinthe from the Val-de-Travers.
