Corrida do Tejo is a popular 10K road race in the western suburbs of Lisbon: it starts in Algés and finishes in Oeiras, running the whole way along the famous Estrada Marginal seafront beside the Tagus river and the ocean. The linear, flat course with almost no turns and a barely perceptible downhill is considered one of the fastest in the region — ideal for a personal best. A mass, accessible September race for runners of all levels.
