The CorriPavia Half Marathon is Pavia's traditional autumn race, held in October with distances from 10 to 21 km. Alongside the half and the 10 km there is the Mini CorriPavia family run and a schools' trophy, so the whole city turns out on race day. The course is flat, through historic streets and along the Ticino — a good choice for an autumn PB. The atmosphere is friendly and family-oriented in true Lombard style. Pavia offers the covered bridge Ponte Coperto, one of Europe's oldest universities, Romanesque basilicas and the famous Certosa di Pavia just outside town.
