La Corsa dei Santi is held every 1 November, All Saints' Day, starting right by St Peter's Square and its colonnade. The flat 10K course passes Rome's great monuments, alongside a non-competitive start for families and amateurs. Thousands of runners, a festive mood and the unique start by the Vatican make it one of Italy's most postcard-perfect races.
