La Corsa di Miguel is a January race in Rome dedicated to the memory of Miguel Benancio Sánchez, an Argentine runner and poet who disappeared during the dictatorship. The competitive 10K is joined by non-competitive distances, poetry, music and school projects, so the event blends sport with culture and remembrance. It finishes at the iconic Stadio dei Marmi by the Foro Italico. Around 14,000 take part.
