Media Maratón Coruña21
7 March 2027 · A Coruña, Spain
coastalscenicflatpb course
The Coruña21 Half Marathon is one of the fastest and most scenic races on Spain's Atlantic coast. The course starts near the port, passes through the Ramón y Cajal district, then unfolds along the city's famous seafront promenade, skirting the beaches of Riazor, Orzán, and Matadero. A Coruña is a city of lighthouses and seafarers, home to the ancient Tower of Hercules, the oldest working lighthouse in the world, with one of Europe's longest coastal boulevards running the length of its shoreline. The flat, RFEA-certified course regularly produces personal bests, and finishing at the historic Plaza de María Pita, right in the heart of the old town, gives the race a special sense of occasion. The cool, breezy Galician weather in early March typically favors fast times, and it's easy to follow up the finish with a plate of fresh seafood while exploring the city.
