Courir pour Elles is Lyon's biggest women's charity run: thousands of participants run or walk 5 or 10 km to raise funds for the prevention and treatment of women's cancers. It is held in the green Miribel-Jonage park near Lyon; the atmosphere is supportive and festive, and the flat courses are ideal for beginners. Easy to combine with a trip to France's gastronomic capital.
