The Course du Mandement is a summer trail race in Satigny that will reach its 48th edition in 2027. The courses run over the Mandement hills through vineyards and copses, and the distances are named after grape varieties: Gamaret is 10 km, Viognier 21 km, Merlot 30 km, plus a full marathon, with 10 and 21 km walks as well. It is one of the most affordable races in Switzerland and has a family feel, with kids' races for the very youngest, a fully accessible race village and an evening concert and party after the finish. The Mandement is the wine heart of the canton of Geneva, so after the race visit a cellar to taste Chasselas and Gamaret, with Geneva's lake and old town just a few kilometres away.
