The Copenhagen Half Marathon takes place in September and draws tens of thousands of runners. The course is flat and very fast: Geoffrey Kamworor set a world record of 58:01 here in 2019, and in 2026 the city hosted the World Road Running Championships. The route passes through the centre, by the lakes and the harbour, with music and dense crowds along the way. Copenhagen means Nyhavn, Tivoli, royal Amalienborg, bikes and New Nordic food.
