ČSOB Zimná séria is a popular winter series of four themed races run by the Bratislava Marathon team: Mikulášska (St Nicholas, early December), Trojkráľová (Epiphany, early January), Valentínska (Valentine's, February) and MDŽ (International Women's Day, March). Each leg offers 5 and 10 km on the flat Danube embankments, plus children's runs. It is an accessible, fun winter build-up to the spring marathons and a good reason to visit Bratislava off-season. Exact leg dates are announced by the organiser closer to the season.
