Part of the 22nd Circuito de Carreras Populares de la Diputación de Cuenca, the Media Maratón de Cuenca runs through the historic city of Cuenca, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its unique urban layout and the famous Casas Colgadas (Hanging Houses) perched over the Huécar gorge. The course starts in the Castillo neighbourhood, follows the San Isidro path down to the Júcar river, runs along both banks, and finishes at the Luis Yúfera sports facilities. Both 21K and 10K distances are on offer.
