The Debrecen Airport Run is a rare chance to run right across the apron and taxiways of Debrecen International Airport, in Hungary's second-largest city. The course is dead flat and closed to traffic, so 5 and 10 km personal bests come easily; there are children's runs and a 4×2.5 km team relay too. The mood is family-friendly and festive, with parked aircraft as part of the scenery. A great accessible race for beginners and fans of fast, flat 10Ks.
