The Royal Ten is organised by The Hague Road Runners club, has been running for nearly three decades and is known as the warmest, most local running event in The Hague. Distances are 10 km and 5 km plus a kids' run, with a course past the city's royal landmarks. It takes place in late May, when the parks are in bloom and the sea is swimmable. Don't miss the Mauritshuis, the Binnenhof and the Peace Palace, then head to Scheveningen beach in the evening.
