Dingle Marathon & Half Marathon
4 September 2027 · Dingle, Ireland
marathonhalfsceniccoastalhillyiconicautumn
The Dingle Marathon takes place in early September on the Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry, with a marathon and a half marathon, each run as a single loop. The course winds along the famous Slea Head Drive above sheer drops to the ocean, past green hills and ancient stone beehive huts, with views of the Blasket Islands — the climbs are real, but every kilometre looks like a postcard. The finish is in Dingle itself, a colourful fishing town whose pubs ring with live music after the race. Off the course, try Conor Pass, Inch Beach, Dingle Oceanworld and boat trips to Great Blasket Island.
