dm ženský beh is the largest and most popular women's run in Slovakia. Since 2012 it has grown from a small start into an event drawing tens of thousands of women. The flat 5 and 10 km routes along Bratislava's Danube embankments and old town suit both seasoned runners and first-timers; there is also a 5 km mother-and-daughter run and Nordic walking. The mood is friendly and festive, held in September — an easy 'straight-off-the-couch' run and a great excuse to explore the Slovak capital on the Danube.
