The Docklands 5K is a popular summer evening race around Dublin's regenerated Docklands, by Grand Canal Dock and the River Liffey. The course is flat and fast, passing the modern quays and glass offices — a fine stage for a 5K personal best or an accessible first race. The mood is friendly, with plenty of company and club runners. Dublin's centre and airport are close by, handy for a short trip.
