The Oberelbe-Marathon is a spring point-to-point: start in Königstein by the rocks of Saxon Switzerland and almost 42 km along the Elbe to Dresden. The course is slightly downhill with river-valley scenery; there is also a half and a 10 km. Besides baroque Dresden, don't miss the Bastei bridge and Königstein Fortress in Saxon Switzerland.
