The Antwerp Marathon takes place in late April as part of the big Antwerp 10 Miles weekend, with a half and 10 km too. The flat course links the historic centre, the Scheldt quays and the port districts, and the festive 10 Miles atmosphere makes it one of Belgium's biggest running events. Antwerp means the Cathedral of Our Lady with Rubens's paintings, the Rubens House, the diamond quarter, the cathedral-like Central Station and the MAS museum overlooking the port.
