Efterårsdag i Kompedal Plantage ('An autumn day in Kompedal') is a small November trail race of 10 km and a half marathon through the forest near Engesvang. Soft forest paths, the scent of pine and autumn colours — a race for enjoyment rather than medals. Nearby are the Silkeborg lake district, Himmelbjerget and the Silkeborg Museum with the 2,400-year-old Tollund Man.
