El Vendrell, in Tarragona province, is the birthplace of the celebrated cellist and conductor Pau Casals, whose museum sits near the Sant Salvador seafront. Organizers describe this half marathon as 'possibly the flattest half marathon you'll run at sea level.' Start and finish are on La Rambla del Vendrell, with a course made up of a 10 km lap followed by an 11.097 km lap through the Coma-ruga seaside district. The event also offers 10K and 5K distances.
