Faenza Half Marathon

The Faenza Half Marathon returned to the calendar after several years away and sold out immediately — in January 2026 every half marathon place was gone before race day. It takes place in late January, with FIDAL-certified half marathon and 10 km races and a 6.5 km family run open to everyone. Start and finish are in Piazza del Popolo, and the course heads from the historic centre to the Lamone river and Parco Roberto Bucci, out along country roads and back via Viale Stradone, Viale Vittorio Veneto and Viale Mazzini. The roads are closed and the whole town lives the race. Faenza is the world capital of majolica — the word 'faience' comes from its name — so don't miss the International Museum of Ceramics and the local workshops.
