Bieg 7 Dolin is the flagship mountain race of the Festiwal Biegowy, which for over a decade has drawn thousands of runners to the Sądecki Beskids; once centred in Krynica-Zdrój, it is now based in Piwniczna-Zdrój. The ultra runs over 100 and 61 km with a night start, crossing seven valleys and Beskid ridges including the climb to Jaworzyna, with mud, roots and loose stones. Around it is a whole festival of 20-plus races, from kids' runs and road 10Ks to a mountain marathon and half, with an expo and food festival. For many Polish trail runners it is an annual ritual. The region offers mineral spa towns, the Poprad Landscape Park, rafting on the Poprad and wooden churches.
