The Gavà half marathon returned to the calendar after a seven-year hiatus, with a fully renewed course under technical direction from Carles Castillejo. The race starts on Avinguda Joan Carles I and finishes at the Estadi Municipal La Bòbila. Gavà sits on the coast southwest of Barcelona and is known for its long beaches and proximity to the Llobregat Delta nature park. The flat course makes it convenient for runners seeking a fast urban route close to Catalonia's capital.
