Zadar Night Run is a spring evening race billed as the first night half marathon in Dalmatia. The start is at 8:30 pm by the Land Gate; the half marathon follows a completely flat, certified course to the western part of the city, while the 10 km and 5 km wind through the historic streets of the peninsula. It feels like a festival on the night-time streets, and part of every entry fee goes to SVE za NJU, an association supporting women with cancer. There is a kids' race too. Zadar offers the Sea Organ and the Greeting to the Sun on the waterfront, the Roman forum, St Donatus Church and the famous maraschino liqueur.
