The Grazer Silvesterlauf is a festive last-day-of-the-year run through the historic centre of Graz (a UNESCO site). Start and finish are on Mariahilferplatz, with the route running along the Mur embankments, through Herrengasse and past the Opera. Choose 5 km or 10 km on flat city streets, plus a free 400 m kids' race. A great way to see out the year with thousands of runners in the atmosphere of Graz before the New Year's celebrations.
